This blog thing is very exciting BUT a little nerve-racking at the same time. I’ve thought about starting a blog many times but never actually leaped. It wasn’t until recently that I was asked to work more hours. Sounds like first problems I know, but I’ve been dealing with some health issues and working long hours as a hairdresser just isn’t helping me get better. It got me thinking about my life and where I want to be in five years and blogging on the road in an RV is really where want to be. I’m excited to talk about what I’ve been through in the past 25 years. Don’t get me wrong, I do LOVE where I am right now. I just know it isn’t going to be a long-term gig. I’m ready to sell everything; travel and live in an RV. Maybe it’ll only last a month, or 2, or 3, possibly 6 or more. Whatever amount of time I’m ready for it!
I dont have high hopes of blogging all of your answers, but I have been through a lot (good and bad) and I’m ready to just dump it all in one spot. My hope in blogging about my life experiences is to help others feel less alone in the trials of life. It can be hard to navigate and it’s even harder when you feel like you’re all alone in the way you feel. You know what I mean? You google a feeling and nothing comes up so you go down this terrible rabbit hole of thinking “OMG! What’s wrong with me? I guess I shouldn’t feel this way.” and you go back to doing the same old song and dance while that feeling is still nagging at you. You feeling the way you do is something, it’s not nothing to brush under a rug and just move on with your life. You know it’ll come right back. I get it! I felt so alone when I would google my feelings and NOTHING came up to validate them. I’m betting we’re not the only ones feeling the feelings we’re googling but just like everyone else we’re not posting about them on social either. I’m pretty sure it’s because of fear.
I appreciate you stopping by and reading this first post of mine. I have a lot I want to talk about, that’s for sure. My biggest problem right now is figuring out where to start. What do you want to know? I encourage you to head over to my About page and give it a read. Let me know in the comments what you’d like me to talk about.
